Coffee Machine Engineer

We are a well established (40+ years) and growing company who provide and service coffee machines for a vast range of catering and office companies.

We can offer comprehensive training on our products for the right individual.

Candidates will ideally transfer from a coffee machine servicing background, but all applicants must be able to demonstrate strong electrical skills and basic mechanical.

The role will be working to an allocated and pre-designated service route and attending customer sites to carry out service, repair and installation work all with a positive attitude and a smile on your face. The successful candidate will be required to complete accurate service documentation and manage and maintain stock levels in their vehicle.

The Company services every major type of traditional coffee machine including the top three in the world – one of which being the Kees van der Westen – which some say is; “the best espresso machine in the world“.

The Coffee Machine Engineer Role:

    • Installation and maintenance of all types of coffee machines (pour and serve, bean-to-cup, traditional espresso, grinders, water treatment units, filters etc)
    • Planned maintenance and reactive / emergency breakdown work
    • Ability or willingness to carry our PSSR boiler inspections
    • Field service role in and around London and the Home Counties and also covering Somerset, Dorset, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Sussex, Hampshire and the surrounding areas.
    • Monday to Friday with a requirement to work some overtime to complete jobs.
    • Availability for ad-hoc on-call work at weekends and holiday periods to assist customers with emergency repairs
    • Carry out ad-hoc functions in the warehouse / engineering / roastery
    • Make product deliveries where required

The Coffee Machine Engineer:

    • Electrical / Mechanical service experience
    • Ideally transfer from a coffee machine service / repair background
    • Must be flexible in your approach to travel and working hour
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information
    • Full UK Driving Licence
    • Coffee Machine Service Experience: 1 year (preferred)
